THE RAINFOREST

Your about to go on a exotic advenrure to learn about the animals in the rainforests and the people native to the rainforests.What can you find in the rainforest? See if you can be a helper and save the rainforest!


There are two types of rainforests:temprate and tropical. The rainforest is home to many animals such as the red-eye-tree frog,the howler monkeys,leopards,insects,and many other animals. Many things we use in our everyday life come from the rainforesrts such as

  1. rubber
  2. vegtables
  3. fruits
  4. cocoa
  5. nuts

Many people live in the rainforests(native tribes). We should stop cutting down the rainforests so we don't disturb the people of the rainforests.The native tribes adapt to the climate and weathering of the rainforest. The forest mostly humid and along with its name, it rains quite alot so the air is always moist and damp. There are 3 layers in the rainforests

Rainforests are located mostly in South America near/in Brazil and are getting smaller by the minute. See if you can convince the goverment to stop cutting down trees for human develoment.Just think of all the animals you are killing.Without rainforests, you wouldn't be able to wear shoes,or drive,or get better. Many medicanes come from the rainforests that help cure us severly.There are different types of flowers that help the rainforests stay alive. The trees of the rainforests never touch because they loose the nutrients that they are storing.
Climate
The temprature in the rainforest is very humid. The earth is moist and damp but somtimes it can get very hot.People who live in the rainforest adapt easily and wear a limited amount of clothing.
Layers in the Rainforest As listed above, there are four layers in the rainforest:Emergant layer,Canopy,Understory,and last on the bottom is the Forest floor.The Emergant layer only consists of a few trees scattered here and there and most of the animals that live there are birds since they fly.Under that is the Canopy. This is the layer with the most action. It has hundreds of trees filled with birds like tocans or the eagle. It also has monkeys like the Howler mokeys or the Screech monkeys. Many frogs live their. My favorite is the red-eye-tree frogs.They are somewhat small and have red eyes.(as you can see, that is how they got their name)This layer is hard to resist with so much action going on!Under that is the Understory.This layer has flat land so that the leoperds and jaguars can run and hunt their prey. A leoperd can run up to 70 miles per hour. Just imagine going on a freeway at 70 miles per hour! That is fast!! The Forest floor is quite boring with only lizards and flat rocks to acompany the rest of the other little animals.
