Fuller GT Magnet Elementary
School is nestled near downtown Raleigh. Strong parental support,
a teaching team second to none, and positive school climate
make Fuller a popular choice. The curriculum is enhanced through
a
well-organized system of elective offerings to students and
an increased number of staff members to serve as a professional
resource.
A strong community partnership allows Fuller to benefit from
many outside resources. Currently, Fuller is a partner with NC
State
University in the Recognizing Accelerated Math Potential in
Under-Represented People (RAMP-UP) initiative, which is a grant
that will provide
resources and instructional support to 3-5 grade students and
teachers. In addition, Fuller has adopted and is in the second
year of implementing the Positive Behavior Initiative, a national
school-wide approach for structuring behavioral expectations
in school. Fuller is a supportive environment where strong communication
among staff and administration provides a scaffolding to ensure
success for all students and teachers. Come see why Fuller
is "the
small school that makes a big difference."
