Concert Information:
Our Spring Concert will be held at 6:00pm in the evening on Wednesday, April 30th.
Please remember that attendance at this concert is mandatory. Families were notified of the date in January when electives began.
Concert Dress:
Students will be wearing black (bottoms) and white (tops). Ladies can wear either long black pants or long black skirts. Boys should wear long black pants. All band students should wear a nice white shirt or sweater. No T-shirts, jeans or sneakers.
Arrival:
Students should be in their seats with instrument and music ready to warm-up at 5:45. At this time no students will be allowed to get water or use the restroom. This should be done before sitting down to warm-up at 5:45
After-School Care:
For students whose bus ride is too long to get home and back to school by 5:45 the Specialists will be offering after school care from 4:00-5:45. A permission slip will be sent home with students two weeks in advance. No students will be allowed to stay after school if the permission slip has not been signed. Supervision will be provided in the dance room from 4:00-5:00. At 5:00pm a pizza dinner will be provided in the cafeteria. If your child is staying for this special after school care please send a donation of 2.00 for pizza. Children staying after school before the concert should bring their concert clothes to school and will be allowed time to change at 5:30 before warm-up at 5:45.
Dismissal:
All students are free to leave at the conclusion of the concert. If parents are unable to attend the concert it is their responsibility to pick up their child at the end of the concert. The Spring Concert will be approximately 1 hour in length and will conclude by 7pm. No students should be at school after 7:15 that evening.
