Magnet Program Description
Fuller GT Magnet Elementary School is unique in that we integrate two magnet program themes into our instructional day: Gifted and Talented & Academically Gifted (AG) Basics.
Upcoming Tours
For your convenience, we are hosting Tours and Talks on select dates in November, December, and January. These sessions are K-2 and 3-5 specific and are designed to provide you with a better understanding of how our school's magnet program is implemented. Each session should take no longer than two hours and will include a program overview and school tour. Call the school to register. Seating is limited, so please cancel your reservation if you cannot attend.

Gifted and Talented
Fuller embraces the philosophy that each child has gifts and talents. Our instructional program is designed to identify students' gifts and talents through engaging learning experiences. Our mission is to challenge each child at his/her intellectuallevel.
Academically Gifted Basics
An additional component to Fuller's G/T Instructional Program is the AG Basics. Students who are identified as academically gifted in core curriculum areas (math and reading) receive extensive instructional support in smaller core classes and designated elective classes. in all classes, students are educated in a diverse learning environment with their intellectual peers. Though NC does not formally recognize academic giftedness until fourth grade, on-going student assessment and professional expertise support our success in teaching your child at his/her level, regardless of grade level.
Electives
The opportunity for students to choose elective classes is the keystone of Fuller's instructional program. Elective classes are considerably smaller than core classes, and are designed to enrich, enhance, or extend the core curriculum and to further develop interest. Whether your child aspires to be a cellist, meteorologist, botanist, journalist, or track star, Fuller has an elective to suit his/her developing dreams.
