Reflections Program
The Reflections competition gives children an opportunity to express their creativity and self- expression in a fun way. Children can submit their own original work in any or all of six different categories:
- Literature
- Visual Art
- Dance Choreography
- Musical Composition
- Photography
- Film Production
Procedure for Entering the Reflections Competition
A student may submit more than one entry in any or all of the above six categories.- Each entry must be based on this year's Reflections theme
Beauty is
- Each entry must adhere to the rules for that category. Please read these rules carefully!
- Each entry must be submitted along with
1. A Student Entry Form
2. A Student Requirements Checklist Form for its respective category. - Both of these forms must be attached to the student entry as outlined in the rules.
- All entries along with their respective application forms must be handed in to the Fuller front office not later than 1:30pm on November 6, 2009.
- All rules and application forms for each of the six categories are also available at the Fuller front office.
Awards and Competition Levels
All participants at Fuller will be recognized!
- At Fuller, entries will be judged at the school level
- 1st , 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded per category per grade at Fuller at an award ceremony
- The best overall 12 entries (not per category) among grades K- 2, and the best overall 12 entries (not per category) among grades 3 5 will be submitted to compete at the county level
- County level winners will move on to compete at the District, State and National level, as long as they keep winning at each of these levels.
- County level competition will be held sometime in January, 2009.
- The award ceremony for Fuller winners (per category per grade) will be held after County level results.
- All entries and artwork will be returned to the student after the competition.
