Our school library is accessible to all students and staff, with welcoming spaces led by a certified school librarian who provides relevant instruction, leadership, and resources to develop students' skills in critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.

Library Support

Our library values access, inquiry, literacy, collaboration, privacy, and equity. We support staff and students by connecting them with high-quality resources and instruction to enhance their learning.

We provide the following services to support learning: 

  • Instruction - Students learn how to responsibly use and evaluate resources, information, and technology tools. 
  • Access to resources - Students check out library books or access digital resources that meet their academic needs or help them explore their interests. 
  • Reader’s Advisory - Get suggestions for which book to read next, or which resources to use for a project.

Media Center Mission Statement

The Fuller GT/AIG Elementary School Media Center will: 

  • Provide an inclusive and structured space in order to develop positive relationships with and promote academic growth for all of our students while making them feel safe and welcome.
  • Use data to measure student success which will guide library/technology instruction.
  • Strive to accommodate the many learning styles of our diverse student body to grow curious readers and learners.
  • Involve stakeholders (including families, caregivers and the community) in our media center activities whenever possible.
